How I reuse vegie's peels for cleaning

I hate chemical cleaning products. Their odor is so intensive, that since I do not have any window in my bathroom, its cleaning with chemicals is not possible for me. To keep my house clean I use a mixture of apple cider vinegar and baking soda (by the way the odor is also very intense, but not as much as by chemical products). But there are also other ways to clean our house, that do not require buying anything! Leftovers of fruit, citrus potato peels usually end up on the compost or in the rubbish. In the meantime, it is worth using the fruit acids contained in them for cleaning.

Making a Broth
Out of the carrot, parsley and celery peel, you can cook a decoction that can be added to sauces, dressing (i like doing a french dressing out of such a mix) or treated as a base for a soup.
You can use a banana peel to refresh your leather furniture or clean your shoes. Just rub the cracks on the leather upholstery and damages will be less visible. It function really well, I have a 20 year old leather sofa at my place, and it looks still like a new one!
I have also seen people cleaning their teeth with a banana peel. I have also tried it but I have not seen any whitening effect.
Because the banana peel is full of minerals (containing potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, nitrogen and calcium), the fertilizer prepared from them will stimulate plants to grow and flower. Bury them in the ground just before planting or dry the ground and mix with the ground.

Potatoes not only for plants
First of all, potatoes cam help you fight the rust. Mix all peels in a mixer and add some salt (1:1). Than rub the micture in a rusty object with using of a cloth.
Also the water after boiling potatoes can be reused. It is commonly used to water the houseplants, or for cleaning cutlery - immerse cutlery in it and cook on low heat for 10 minutes. It can also be used to descaling the kettle - fill it with water after boiling potatoes, cook it and leave it for at least 30 minutes.
I love using potatoes or carrots peels to make some homemade crisps. I just sprinkle them with olive oil, season with your favorite spices and bake them. Finally, it is worth using the peelings for ... the home composter. It is a natural way to fertilize balcony or home flowers.

Oranges as a dishwashing liquid
Cut the orange peels into a jar and pour enough apple cider vinegar to cover them. Put the mixture in  a dark place (necessarily)  for a week. Pour the liquid through the strainer and trow the peels away. Before using, dilute it with water (1: 1). I am using this mixture to wipe the dust from the furniture (also from the upholstering and paintings) and to wash the dishes (I use it instead of ordinary dishwashing liquid).

Avocado Seed
It is a treasure trove of health - it has antioxidant properties, it contains a lot of phytochemical compounds, including flavonoids and proanthocyanidins and polyphenols, i.e. strong antioxidants, neutralizing free radicals (avocado seed is one of the leaders in terms of the amount of antioxidants in the plant world) and contains also a lot of fiber (one of the largest sources of fiber as we know it) and a great source of many vitamins.
Just dry the seed in the sun for 3 days, then put it in a plastic bag and break it with a hammer, then throw it into a blender (with a high power) and blend it to powder. Such powder can be added to cocktails or water.
